The committee are holding a Easter Play Morning on Monday 10th April at the Millennium Hall in Portreath 10am – 12pm.  £2 per child, plus 50p per extra sibling.  Children of Portreath Pre-school, their siblings and parents are invited to an Easter themed play morning including craft activities, songs and games.

A light snack will be provided for the children and donations towards tea and coffee for grown-ups would be gratefully received.

We have just been awarded £557 from the Cornwall Councillors’ Community Chest Fund Application. This money will go towards buying two new trikes, a scooter. We are also going to have new vegetable beds to grow our own food for snack time. Thank you to Joyce Duffin Cornwall Councillor for Mount Hawke and Portreath.

We are always looking for ways to enrich your child’s experiences at pre-school and provide a varied and stimulating environment.  ‘Loose parts’ in pre-schools is a way of providing children with items and resources that encourage creativity and high quality imaginative play – things we love at Portreath Pre-school.

Your child would have come home with a list of resources that we would like for pre-school and are extremely grateful for any donations.  We have bits and pieces of what is mentioned but we hope that with your help our ‘Loose parts’ resources can grow to be large and varied collection of items that can offer your child the opportunity to let their imaginations fly!
