Dear Childcare Provider

 

Under the new duties of the Children and Families Act 2014, the Local Authority must provide an annual report regarding childcare sufficiency.  Each year we will be asking parents to complete a survey to tell us, anonymously if they prefer, if childcare in Cornwall meets their requirements.

 

I would like your assistance in promoting the survey to your parents, by forwarding this email to contacts and putting the link on your websites/Facebook page.

  Pre-School Christmas Fundraising Evening

We are holding a fundraising evening on

Friday 11th December at The Millennium Hall from 5.30 – 7pm

This will be an evening to enjoy for all the family. There will be Santa’s Grotto £1.50, Christmas Hampers to be won, Mince pies and mulled wine available for a donation, cake auction and the children will be singing on stage at 6pm.

How you can help

Last years Christmas Hampers were amazing and full of Christmas delights donated by the parents so this year we will have the lists up again in the pre-school for you to choose what you would like to donate. We are aware that this an expensive time of year so no single item will cost more than £3 and many are priced much less. This way we do not get lots of the same thing and it makes the Hampers extra special. If you feel you can donate something please bring it to the Pre –school before Friday 5th December. Raffle tickets priced at £1 each have been attached for you to sell as many as you can. If you would like more just ask! The lucky winners will be drawn on the night.

 

A huge thank you in advance for supporting us and everything that you do to buy much needed resources for the children at the Pre-School.   So please come along in your Christmas jumpers and support the event and help raise funds for the pre-school.
